The Highway Patrol says that 31-year-old Daniel Nanney suffered moderate injuries when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and hit a metal gate. Nanney was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on County Road 503, four miles north of Ava.
