A man was arrested in Cherokee Village after police found several packages of drugs. According to the report, officers found marijuana, mushrooms, and THC edibles after responding to an accident. When they arrived they were told that 31-year-old William Douglas had fled on foot. Douglas was located and arrested. Douglas was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, schedule 1 or 2, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to a hospital to treat injuries he suffered in the accident.
