The Highway Patrol reports the boy suffered serious injuries when a Jeep driven by 36-year-old Lacy Hale of West Plains swerved to miss another vehicle, drove off the road, and overturned. The accident happened on Highway K, three miles west of West Plains. The juvenile was flown to Cox South in Springfield.
