
A man from Walnut Ridge originally charged with negligent homicide in the death of a Pocahontas woman has entered a negotiated plea. Marty Champlin was involved in an accident in November of 2020, where Shelby Plumley was killed. Champlin was sentenced to 12 months suspended sentence and fined. He was convicted of second-degree criminal mischief in the negotiated plea.
