31-year-old Melvin James Dale Campbell is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon by possessing a firearm and a felony controlled substance. He also faces misdemeanor charges of failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Campbell was involved in an accident where he drove off the road and hit a tree. He suffered serious injuries in the accident. Campbell is a convicted felon. A Warrant from Oregon County has been issued with a bond of $50,000.
