The Highway Patrol reports that a 17-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries and a 16-year-old boy suffered minor injuries when 73-year-old Cheryl Hicks of Norwood attempted to make a turn and was hit by the vehicle the 16-year-old boy was driving. Both the injured were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway E, one mile north of Norwood.
