39-year-old Michael Clouse was arrested this past weekend at a residence on Deer Run Drive in Licking. Clouse was reportedly a guest at the residence and had set fire to a mattress and clothing in the bedroom and then fled the scene. He was located walking on the highway and refused to stop walking when questioned by deputies. The homeowner was able to put out the fire. Clouse is charged with second-degree arson and resisting arrest. He as taken to Texas County Jail and bond was set at $2,500.
