ARDOT has announced a Ribbon Cutting is set for Wednesday for the new Bridge over Spring River connecting Fulton and Sharp Counties. The multi-million dollar bridge is located on County Road 42 and replaces the old low-water bridge. The Ribbon Cutting will be at 11 am Wednesday. The Bridge project was down by West Plains Bridge and Grading LLC at a cost of $3.49 million.  The ribbon-cutting event will take place on the newly constructed bridge over the Spring River on County Road 42, also known as 9 Mile Ridge Road, near Hardy.  Due to limited parking on the bridge, attendees are invited to meet at the First Baptist Church of Hardy (411 Church Street) and ride in an ARDOT shuttle van to the event site.
