
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Cardinals have signed a third starter, this offseason. Sonny Gray signed a three-year deal. The Cardinals had already signed Lance Lynn and Kyle Gibson to one-year deals. According to reports, the Gray deal is for three years at $75 million.
Gray posted a 2.79 ERA with 183 strikeouts in 184 innings pitched this past season. For his career, the 34-year-old Gray averages nearly a strikeout per inning.
