A federal lawsuit filed against the City of Mountain Home and Officer Zack Byrd has been dismissed. 32-year-old Michael Ransom Hobbs brought the lawsuit, alleging they had violated his constitutional rights. The lawsuit claimed the officer had threatened Hobbs after he refused to turn over his cellphone. Hobbs has several court dates set in Baxter County.
