Thayer Police Department is elated to announce that they have received numerous donations this year for 2023 Shop with a Cop and that the amount of donations they have received is record-setting for Thayer Shop with a Cop! They said that they are so grateful for the outpouring of support for this program from so many local businesses and community members. Many people contribute donations to this event anonymously, and some people donate weekly and even daily in support of this event. They would like to send a shout-out to Alton Thayer Elks Lodge for their generous donation to Shop with a Cop this week! While the applications have not yet been tallied, they are excited to see that we have received so many, and believe that this may be their best year yet!
They look forward to seeing the turnout for Shop with a Cop on December 9th at 09:00 am at Thayer Walmart! There will be officers and representatives from several agencies ready to shop!
