A woman from Baxter County who allegedly took pictures of someone else’s baby and posted them as her own has been charged. 22-year-old Alysha Jones is charged with felony computer fraud. According to the probable cause affidavit, on Nov. 17, a probation officer with the district court presented documentation regarding a possible fraud involving Jones. Officials state it was reported Jones had been using photographs of a baby, obtained from Facebook, to obtain money, property or service with false representation. Jones allegedly admitted to the scheme post-Miranda. She also stated she had lost three babies, including two this year alone.
Jones is currently being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.
