A Salem Arkansas man has been arrested after fighting with police.

52-year-old Kenneth Howard was arrested on an active warrant. According to the report, officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Arkansas State Police, and the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force went to the home and Howard refused to come out of the house. Officers broke glass on a door to gain entry. Howard allegedly pushed three officers into the broken glass causing minor injuries. Howard allegedly was armed and threatened to kill the Sheriff. He was then tackled by another officer and fought that officer, causing minor injuries. Howard was arrested on three felony counts of felony second-degree battery against a police officer, one felony count of terroristic threatening, and misdemeanor resisting arrest. He was taken to the Izard County Detention Center and his bond was set at $40,000
