The Highway Patrol reports that 22-year-old Stephen Vasques was injured when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the road, and overturned the car he was driving. Vasques was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway 17, one mile south of Highway U.
