The Highway Patrol reports that 26-year-old Matthew Small suffered minor injuries when his pickup was run off the road by an unknown vehicle that was passing him. He swerved to avoid the vehicle, ran off the road, and struck a fence and a tree. Small was taken to Cox South. The accident happened on Route D, four and a half miles east of Springfield.
