On January 10, 2024, the West Plains Police Department served a narcotics-related search warrant in the 300 block of Maple Street, West Plains, Missouri. Drug paraphernalia related to the distribution of illegal narcotics suspected methamphetamine, and other illegal controlled substances were located and seized at the residence. US currency indicative of the illegal sales of narcotics and several illegal firearms were also seized. Two suspects were taken into custody pending charges of Trafficking Drugs 2nd Degree, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance.
