COLUMBIA, Mo.  — South Carolina reserve Jacobi Wright scored 11 points, and his fadeaway jumper over Missouri’s 7-foot-5 Connor Vanover with 13 seconds left in overtime served as the game-winner, and the Gamecocks beat the Tigers 71-69 on Saturday.

Noah Carter led Missouri (8-8, 0-3) with 23 points, shooting 9 for 20 overall but just 2 for 10 from 3-point range.

 

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Reserve Riley Kugel scored 20 points to lead five in double figures, and Florida routed Arkansas 90-68 on Saturday to end a three-game losing streak against the Razorbacks.

Layden Blocker scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half to lead Arkansas (9-7, 0-3). Jeremiah Davenport scored all 13 of his points in the first half for the Razorbacks

 

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — N.J. Benson’s 22 points helped Missouri State defeat Evansville 74-64 on Saturday night.

Benson also had 13 rebounds and three blocks for the Bears (10-7, 2-4 Missouri Valley Conference). Alston Mason scored 18 points while going 7 of 17 from the floor, including 2 for 9 from 3-point range, and 2 for 3 from the line, and added five assists. Donovan Clay and Raphe Ayres both added 14.

 

JONESBORO, Ark.  – Hosana Kitenge had 25 points in Louisiana’s 84-77 win against Arkansas State on Saturday night.

Caleb Fields led the way for the Red Wolves (7-10, 3-2) with 19 points and seven rebounds. Izaiyah Nelson added 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocks for Arkansas State. In addition, Taryn Todd had 12 points.

 

WEST PLAINS MO.—-The Missouri State West Plains Grizzlies lost in overtime to Three Rivers Community College 73-72. The Grizzlies fall to 8-10 on the season and will be back in action on Saturday, January 20 at home with Moberly Area Community College.
