A man from West Plains was inured in an accident in Fordland Monday morning

The Highway Patrol reports that 50-year-old John Stiner Jr. suffered serious injuries when 50-year-old Brian Thompson of Springfield lost control of the truck he was driving, due to an ice-covered roadway and hit the truck that Stiner was driving head-on. The accident happened on U.S. 60 in Fordland. Stiner was flown to Cox South.
