26-year-old Michael Nugent of Eunice was found guilty in 2022 of unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action in the death of 39-year-old Crue Ridenoure of Willow Springs. Ridenoure allegedly told another person that Nugent had shot him before he died. Nugent also has a $10 million judgment against him for Ridenoure’s children.
