FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Senior guard Davonte “Devo” Davis has returned to the Razorback basketball team following a leave of absence per Eric Musselman during his weekly radio show.

Musselman and Davis have been known to have a father-son relationship in the past despite taking time off from the program twice in two seasons. The bond was displayed following Davis’ iconic 25 points, eight rebound performance in the round of 32 against No. 1 seed Kansas last season.

Davis has seen a noticeable drop in production for the senior who was expected to be the leader upon which Musselman constructed this year’s team. The Jacksonville native is averaging a career-low 6.3 points per game with a dip in rebounds to a shade above four. His field goal percentage has plummeted to a career-low 35% while only knocking down 23% of his three-point attempts.
