A woman accused of being involved in sex crimes against children in Douglas County has been sentenced. Shawna Ross entered an Alford plea and was sentenced to 28 years in prison. Ross was charged with three counts of tampering or attempting to tamper with a victim in a felony prosecution, sex trafficking, and two counts, each of statutory rape and statutory sodomy.
