Texas County Deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit on Friday. 53-year-old Stanley Smith fled from police in a vehicle in the 11100 area of Turley Road off Highway M. Smith abandoned his vehicle and fled into a wooded area. Smith has not been apprehended, if you see him please call 911, he is not believed to be armed but that cannot be confirmed. Please keep vehicles locked and report any suspicious activity.
