45-year-old Charles Edward Slater was arrested on Friday at a construction site where he was working. He was taken to the Sharp County Detention Center. Police say that Slater allegedly threatened suicide as well as running to avoid being arrested. Slater is expected to be charged with four counts of rape. His bond was set at $150,000
