A Howell County man who was arrested in Mountain View on several charges has pleaded not guilty. 41-year-old Wilie Gene Day was arrested and charged with felony assault, burglary, and resisting arrest. Day allegedly tried to burglarize a home then assaulted the homeowners and fought the police. He is free on a $50,000 bond and will be in court on March 4, for a bond appearance.
