The former mayor of Bull Shoals has been arrested for abuse of office and theft. 69-year-old David Nixon is charged with two felony counts of theft of property more than $5,000. Nixon allegedly received unauthorized reimbursements from the city of Bull Shoals during his time as mayor for Medicare Part B premiums that had been deducted from his Social Security payments.
