
A fight breaks out at a Gainesville business leading to an arrest. 53-year-old Carl Foster of Gainesville is facing felony charges of assault in the third degree and possession of a controlled substance along with a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. According to an affidavit, Foster entered the Antler package store and started punching the victim in the checkout line. According to witnesses, Foster then continued punching the victim as he was on top of him before employees broke up the incident.
Ozark County deputies later located Foster and while taking him into custody, discovered a straw, which field tested positive for methamphetamine use. He was released into his own custody on February 27.
