Over January, students in the Willow Springs School District participated in the Fields of Dreams Uganda South Central Association Change for Change Challenge.
Our students raised a total of $1,800 from collecting change and are the winners of the SCA Challenge.
The funds will support the Fields of Dreams Uganda Ekisa Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students at partner schools in Uganda. Fields of Dreams Uganda is a nonprofit that provides hope, empowerment, and a future to the vulnerable children of Uganda through the vehicles of soccer and education.
Willow students will have the opportunity to connect with students at St. Kizito Primary School via Zoom calls, letter writing, and encouragement through cultural exchange opportunities.
