Richard Wright was sentenced for receiving and distributing child pornography. On July 7, 2021, law enforcement officers served a federal search warrant at Wright’s residence and several items capable of storing digital media files were seized as evidence. Wright admitted to investigators that he downloaded files from file-sharing networks, which included files depicting child pornography.
Investigators conducted forensic examinations of Wright’s devices and found over 8,000 images of child pornography.
