In the Class 2 District 2 Semi-Finals (Girls)
Thayer ended their season with a loss in overtime to Neelyville 68-65. Abby Bowers led Thayer with 22 points, Hadley Meyers had 17 points and Joselyn Tucker had 14 points. The Lady Bobcats finish at 17-8 on the season
The Alton Lady Comets also saw their season end as they lost to East Carter 66-58, After the game we talked to Head Coach Shane Benson
Evan Montgomery led the Lady Comets with 25 points, McKenzie Smith had 12 points and Allie Willard had 11 points. The Lady Comets finish at 22-5 on the season.
In the 2A-2 Regional at West Side Greers Ferry
The #1 Ranked Mammoth Spring Lady Bears cruised to a 74-22 win against Viola. Brynn Washam led the Lady Bears with 21 points, Tay Davis had 13 points and Adrianna Corbett had 11 points. The Lady Bears play the winner of today’s game between Concord and Hillcrest on Friday in the Semi-Finals. With the win last night, the Lady Bears will advance to the State Tournament next week in Harrison.
The #2 Ranked Norfork Lady Panthers also got a big win beating Maynard 71-26
Viola Boys season ended last night with a loss to #1 ranked Marked Tree 74-37

The Highland Lady Rebels ended their season with a loss to Clinton 44-41
