Cardinals Hall of Fame nominees

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced their 2024 Hall of Fame modern player nominees, with voting to start on Saturday.

The Cardinals have nominated four former modern players for the honor, and fans can cast their ballots online for who they think should win.

The nominations include: Steve Carlton played for the Cardinals from 1965-1971, George Hendrick joined the Cardinals in 1978 via trade and played with the team through 1984, Matt Morris played for the Cardinals from 1997-2005, and Edgar Renteria played for the Cardinals from 1999-2004.
