U.S. 63 will be getting a facelift beginning next month. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, starting on March 4, Highway 63 in Howell and Oregon Counties will be reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction as construction crews perform pavement repairs.
The affected route begins at Business U.S. 63 in West Plains and ends at Oregon County Road 366 just south of Koshkonong. Weather permitting, work will be done from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, March 4 through June 28.
Drivers are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the areas.
