Burn bans have been issued across the listening area. In Arkansas, burn Bans have been issued in Fulton, Sharp, and Independence Counties. In Missouri, the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag warning for all of the state until 9 pm tonight. A red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures contribute to extreme fire behavior. Today we will see gusty winds from 20-30 MPH and wind gusts up to 45 MPH. no outdoor burning should be done anywhere in Southern Missouri or Northern Arkansas.
