A Stone County Arkansas man faces charges after allegedly shooting at his nephew. 57-year-old Clifton Lee Carpenter is charged with aggravated assault on a family member. Carpenter allegedly shot at his nephew from a tree stand earlier this year. In 2022, a restraining order was issued for 10 years against Carpenter to protect his nephew. Carpenter was arrested earlier this week on a felony charge and two misdemeanor charges: violation of an order of protection and harassment. Carpenter is being held in the Stone County Detention Center on a bond of $250,000.
