North Arkansas Electric Cooperative members experienced a brief outage beginning at 5:51 a.m. Tuesday after an issue with Entergy’s transmission line interrupted service to 13 NAEC substations in Baxter County. More than 14,000 members were without power for approximately 17 minutes. As a distribution electric cooperative, NAEC relies on transmission lines owned and operated by others to deliver electricity to co-op substations.
