The bodies of three out-of-state kayakers on Stockton Lake have been recovered- that’s the word from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
No foul play, but no lifejackets either- though hypothermia is what the Highway Patrol believes was a major factor. On Friday’s newscast, ECNN reported that 18-year-old Melodie Roberts of South Lyon of Michigan was recovered from the frigid and choppy waters which investigators believe is what caused the kayak to capsize. The identities of the other two kayakers, both males, haven’t been made available to ECNN at this time.
