The lone survivor from last week’s deadly car crash in southern Butler County has died.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Kristi Heaton, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was flown from the crash scene to a Memphis, Tennessee hospital with serious injuries and died shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Heaton was a passenger in a pickup truck involved in a crash with an SUV on U.S. 67, just north of Neelyville; the driver of the pickup truck, 61-year-old Randall Tittsworth, of Camp Point, Illinois, died at the scene.
Three other people, including a 15-year-old girl, were killed in the crash.
Troopers report no one was wearing a seatbelt and both vehicles were completely destroyed.
