The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 38-year-old Danielle Oswald of Springfield and a 9-year-old boy from Springfield both suffered serious injuries a 16-year-old girl from Ozark suffered moderate injuries and a 16-year-old boy from Ava and a 5-year-old girl from Springfield both suffered minor injuries, when the 16-year-old boy from Ava attempted to avoid a crash, ran off the road ten came back onto the roadway and hit the vehicle that Oswald was driving head-on. The accident happened on Highway 14, one mile west of Ava.
