An elderly woman was rescued from a vehicle that ran off a low water bridge on Griffin Road in Sharp County on Monday. The Hardy police and Fire and Rescue and the Sharp County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene of the accident, and safely rescued an elderly woman who was driving the car. No name was released.
