The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a woman in connection with an attempted kidnapping. Tabbitha Evans allegedly attempted to take a child from her mother at a grocery store parking lot in Ava. Evans was allegedly under the influence of an unknown substance. She is charged with kidnapping and the bond was set at $10,000.
