Sunday accident reports in Troop G of the Highway Patrol

Two men were injured in a head-on collision on Highway 63 north of Brandsville on Sunday. The Highway Patrol reports that 72-year-old Ronald Nelson of Houston Missouri and 55-year-old Sergo Vacharadze of New York both suffered serious injuries. The MSHP says that Nelson crossed the center road, hit a guardrail, returned to the road, and hit Vacharadze head-on.

 

A Mountain Grove man was injured in an accident south of Cabool Sunday. 42-year-old James Stacy suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the Jeep he was driving. Stacy was ejected from the vehicle. The accident happened on Highway 181, five miles south of Cabool, Stacy was flown to Cox South in Springfield.

 

A man from Jadwin Missouri was hurt in a wreck in Shannon County Sunday. 29-year-old James Newkirk suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road, hit a road sign, and overturned the vehicle he was driving. Newkirk was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway KK, eight miles south of Jadwin.

 

Sunday morning a Poplar Bluff man was injured in an accident in Shannon County. The Highway Patrol reports that 27-year-old Matrez Carter suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and hit a guardrail. Carter was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 60, five miles east of Winona.
