A Mountain Home parolee pushes her luck- now her parole has been pulled.

51-year-old Rhonda Jean Clark was sentenced in December 2012 by the Baxter County Court to 17 years for killing her live-in boyfriend, 43-year-old Antonio Sanchez III, the day before Thanksgiving in 2010. At the time of the murder, authorities didn’t believe her original story that Sanchez committed suicide by way of two rifle shots and a stab wound, all to the back.  Clark’s defense during the trial alleges that Sanchez was abusive and that the situation finally escalated.

Clark was charged with drug offenses on March 27, 2024 when a Mountain Home police officer reported seeing what appeared to be an unconscious woman slumped over the steering wheel of a tan Chevrolet Impala.  According to the latest report, the officer said she appeared under the influence of an unknown substance, later testing positive for methamphetamine.

At the time of that Clark’s parole was approved, she was an inmate of the state prison in Newport.
