
Over a year ago, a West Plains man was charged with child abuse; earlier this week- the man pleads guilty.
On February 3 of last year, West Plains police arrived at a home where the man had reportedly been involved in an argument with a 14-year-old that got out of hand. Police alleged that 50-year-old Eric Mullins then used his forearms to choke the teenager. Mullins pled guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree domestic assault and was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation and he is also ordered to pay court costs. If Mullins violates his probation, he’s looking at a $1,000 fine and a year in jail.
