On April 10, 2024, around 10 pm, following a joint investigation with officers from the West Plains Police Department, Howell County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 6070 in West Plains, for illegal narcotics.
During the search, several items of methamphetamine-related paraphernalia, packaging materials, and two bags of methamphetamine weighing over 22 grams were seized from the residence.
Michael Dean Edwards, of West Plains, was taken into custody and transported to the Howell County Adult Detention Center. A warrant for Mr. Edwards’s arrest has been issued for charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Mr. Edwards is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
