We have been made aware that someone is “spoofing” the Izard County Sheriff’s Office phone number and calling people. They are identifying themselves as detectives with the Sheriff’s Office and telling people things such as they have a warrant for missing jury duty. If you receive a call like this DO NOT give your personal information or credit/debit card information. DO NOT call any phone numbers they give you. Call the Sheriff’s Office at 870-368-4203 if you receive a call like this.
