A fuel tanker flipped over near Flippin early this morning.
Loaded with what was once 8500 gallons of fuel, the tanker overturned and leaked fuel across the highway near the junction of U.S. Highways 62 & 412 and Arkansas Highway 178
The most recent word is that traffic at the east end of the Flippin bypass was being diverted into the city of Flippin and onto Arkansas Highway 202 into Summit. ECNN reached out to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department- no updates on the cause of that tanker overturning or the status of the clean-up.
