FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – For the first time in program history, the No. 14 Arkansas Razorbacks won back-to-back series vs. No. 15 Alabama after dismantling the Crimson Tide, 8-0, in five innings Sunday afternoon at Bogle Park.

 

SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State softball (13-28, 9-11 MVC) collected its first series sweep of the season with a 5-4 walk-off victory against Valparaiso (8-32, 2-15 MVC) here Sunday afternoon.

The Bears will be back on the road this week for four Missouri Valley Conference games. MSU will travel to Southern Illinois for a midweek matchup on Wednesday,

 

 

ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 13/13 University of Missouri softball team (35-13, 8-10 SEC) dropped its series-wrapping doubleheader at No. 9/9 Georgia (35-11, 9-8 SEC) Saturday at Jack Turner Softball Stadium.

The Bulldogs secured the weekend series, 2-1, with a pair of 4-2 victories Saturday.

 

WEST PLAINS MO—The Missouri State-West Plains lady Grizzlies won three of four games this weekend at home. Saturday the Lady Grizzlies swept Metropolitan Community College 7-4 and 5-1, then on Sunday they split a double header with Jefferson College winning the first game 3-2 then losing game two 11-2.  MSU-West Plains is at Crowder College on Tuesday for two games then wraps up the regular season at home on Thursday with two more games with Crowder College.
