Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident last night east of West Plains. The Highway Patrol says that 23-year-old Katauna Parker of West Plains and a 10-year-old girl from Alton both suffered minor injuries when Parker hit the rear of a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Ashlyn Jones of Willow Springs causing her to hit the rear of a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Patrick Pettey of Alton. The accident happened on Highway 160 near County Road 2690.
Three Doniphan residents were injured in an accident on Highway 142 west of Doniphan on Tuesday. 88-year-old James Donley drove off the road and hit a sign and a tree. James Donley, 84-year-old Fern Donley, and 40-year-old Justin Donley all suffered minor injuries and were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
A man from Plato was injured in an accident north of Houston Tuesday morning. 24-year-old Dakota Wade suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road hit a tree and overturned the vehicle he was driving. He was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
