The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of five people

On May 3, Deputies were patrolling in the Isabella area and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. K9 Karo alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. The vehicle stop resulted in the seizing of over an ounce of meth. Larry Sanders and Sandra Coons were arrested and booked for second-degree Trafficking Drugs. Further investigation resulted in the seeking for and issuance of two search warrants for two separate residences in Isabella.  On May 4, a Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force assisted in serving the warrants. The searches resulted in the locating of meth, firearms, paraphernalia, and prescription medications not prescribed to any of the suspects. Thomas Pettit, Summer Luna, and Michael Peardon for charges including possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and unlawful use of a weapon.
