
Deputies conducted a traffic stop and found two firearms in the front seat of the vehicle. 45-year-old Dustin Souder was asked to exit the vehicle and a frisk of Souder found a meth pipe. Prior to placing Souder in the patrol vehicle, Souder advised he had a “baggie” in his pocket. A Deputy removed the item which contained a crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Souder was transported to the Douglas County Jail and a warrant was issued for Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, 3 counts of Unlawful use of a weapon by possessing illegal narcotics and firearms, no insurance, and failure to signal. The bond was set at $2500 cash only.
