The 16th Judicial Drug Task Force served a search warrant on Tuesday in Independence County that resulted in the arrest of a man for drug trafficking. The search warrant was served at the home of 21-year-old Jose Medardo Gonzales Rosales after officers conducted undercover buys from Rosales. Authorities seized 23.6 pounds of meth and three pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $1 million. Rosales was charged with three counts of trafficking meth over 200 grams and other drug-related charges. He is being held on $1.5 million bail.
